Just keep swimming

We have two new additions at our house! Rain and Bob came to join our house as our only pets last week.

Laney had an ENT appointment to see about getting her tubes out. While we were in Jackson that day we made a little trip over to Petco (thats the where the Pets Go!) and Laney K and Caleb each picked themselves out a Beta fish. Laney picked out a blueish/purplish fish that she named Rain. Caleb went for the orangeish Red fish and named him Bob... "because Aunt Jan has a Beta named Bob". Although Aunt Jan actually has Re-Bob because original Bob did what most fish do before long and well, went to the great swimming hole beyond :)

The kids were excited about the pet store. They watched some dogs getting a trim, explored all the reptiles, rodents and other smelly animals.

Then excitedly chose their fish.

The 2 have moved into their new homes (2 vases) and are currently adorning our mantel, until we start using the fireplace, and we have to move them or risk cooking them.

Welcome to the house guys!
