Laney had a project at Thanksgiving at school, where they send us home a plain black and white outline of a turkey. The assignment was for her and her family to try and give the turkey a disguise so that noone would recognize him on Thanksgiving so he would live to see another day. Laney quickly told me she wanted to disguise her turkey as Santa. Since parents were encouraged to help with the project, me and Laney sat down and got to work. She was thrilled with the end result....and so was her Momma :) pretty sure no one recognized our turkey this year!
Both kids have been doing some art...
Caleb made a couple different Christmas art pieces for me to "put up to decorate the house" with.
