Perfect Camping trip

This summer we took the kids camping. We've only gotten to go twice this year so far. Prime camping time is nearly here and we aren't sure if we will be able to squeeze in a trip this fall or not. We really want to - just will be a tight schedule the next few months.

Regardless the second trip we made was in the middle of July (typically that would mean miserable heat!) but it was actually the PERFECT camping trip. We pulled up and could not believe our beautiful spot. It was a nice large spot - right on the water - perfect balance of sun and shade.

We spent three nights there and it was pure bliss. We biked - hiked - swam (yep) and relaxed and had just a great family trip.

And yes - we did lots of this....

Completely wonderful trip! Hoping we get to do this atleast once more before the cold weather gets here.
