When Caleb Made God the Boss of his Heart

10 days after Caleb had tonsil surgery and went through a real rough recovery time, Caleb, on a Wednesday night decided to give his heart to Jesus.

He had been asking questions for a couple of months. Had gone through a spell of getting up at night unable to sleep, and had a general restlessness. His Daddy and I both thought we knew what was going on, but did our best to answer questions, and let him come to us when he was ready.

Finally, that Wednesday night he came to our bedroom, and told us "I need to make God the Boss of my heart.".

Those were some precious words to his parents ears.
We talked with him, asked him some questions and then listened as our little boy made the decision to get saved.

We could not have been prouder. After such a rough couple of months with sickness and surgery, we could now clearly see how God's had been using all these things to get to Caleb's heart. So thankful for a God who uses ALL things for good for us!

 We had a late night celebration on earth (and in heaven) for this little boy and his decision.

I got to check "answered" in my prayer journal beside the entry where I was Praying for Caleb's salvation. What a huge answered prayer. 

We look forward to teaching Caleb and watch his relationship with God grow as he grows and learns. Praise to the Lord....for He has been good to us!
