Christmas Shoe Tree Program

Ok, it is time to catch up this blog. December has been a flurry of events and now that the end of the year is fast approaching you can expect alot of posts from me in the coming days (if all goes as planned). Because as soon as I post my last blog of 2012 I will be working on getting my first blog book. I am so excited about having all the photos and stories in an actual book for us to have in our home. So...here is the beginning of the catch up. Some of these posts may be randomly out of order...but that fits the name here, right?

Children's Annual Church choir program
The day the kids had their Christmas program at church was also the day of our Karnes family Christmas...in Memphis. (More on that day later)
We stayed as long as we could at my Aunt and Uncle's house that day and then made a beline for home. We drove straight into the church, gave the kids a once over and tried to straighten clothes and hair and onto the stage they went.
This year our children's choir performed The Christmas Shoe Tree...a play with a Soles4Souls project tied in, collecting shoes for those in need.
It was a wild evening getting there on time, but all went well. Both kids sang the songs and did a great job.

Caleb was hidden from my view, but thats him to the left of the tree :)

I really enjoy the Childrens choir performance. When these innocent little children sing about Jesus it has a especially sweet affect on everyone.
