Elfy Time!

You could tell he came from somewhere really cold cause his window was all frosty :)
That's right! He is back. While some elves seem to appear the day after Thanksgiving, our elf must be in high demand at the north pole, because he never shows up until December 1. And sure enough, Saturday he showed up at our house. We were getting ready for Laney's early morning basketball game when we heard the kids squeals from the den.

Our elf is dropped off in his box the first day by Santa, along with a letter. Then his mischief begins the following night. Here are a few things our elf, Cocoa Buffy has been up to so far. The kids cannot wait until Christmas Eve when they can hold and touch Elfy again. (The kids named him Cocoa Buffy but half the time they call him Elfy, so I do as well).

 First night's shenanigans....
A cotton ball bath for our friend from the north
Second night must have been a cold trip to the North Pole to see Santa that night, because we found Cocoa curled up in Mrs. Snowmans snuggly arms where he was napping...

Hiding in the coffee maker Cocoa? It gets hot in there!

Ricky and I woke up staring at Elfy's little face, along with his springy snowman friend, we think he was using his friend as a human bungee cord.

All aboard the Christmas train...all aboard, all aboard.

With plenty of days left between now and Christmas we can't wait to see what other tricks Cocoa Buffy has up his sleeves!
