Creepy creepers

Last Saturday we took the kids to the little local museum we have in our county. It is really small, but somehow every time we have been there it is always closed. So, we spent an hour or two learning a little about the counties history. The kids also got a chance to hold...yes, a live snake.

Put it down already....
Kudos to Caleb who was too smart to hold it, although he did touch it for a second. They also got to have a little race with some turtles and see some other not so alive (stuffed) woodland creatures.

As close as Caleb got (much closer than I got :)
This snake was a good reference point for us this week when we were telling the story about Eve eating the apple because the snake told her to.  Another good reason for my dislike of snakes right there. Clearly God isn't particularly fond of the wicked little creepers either!
