Kitchen Progress?

Here is the current status of our big Kitchen Remodel - Aren't the upates...lovely? 

This first photo shows the right side of my galley kitchen as you enter from the back door. Its waiting for an electricians and HVAC guys to come out and do some work before we start putting up sheetrock. We decided to pull down the panel walls in the kitchen before we got the new cabinets. One day we will probably be glad we did this. Today is not that day!

Here is the opposite wall of the kitchen. Doesn't this just make you want to have family over during Thanksgiving and Christmas?! Lol ~ you know what they say, there's always next year.

And lastly is the view from our den looking toward the kitchen. Yes, the carnage is not confined to just one room - its mainly just on the main level of the entire house. Thats all.

At the moment we seem to be stuck in the one step forward, 27 steps back stage! lol!
Oh well, we have slowed the pace down, as we seem to have run out of steam and we were starting to get some bad burn out. But, regardless, we are moving forward and hopefully soon we will be rounding the corner into the land of "everything is coming together" land. Until then, I look forward to the day we have walls in the kitchen, and floors, and cabinets, and appliances, and lighting back in the house and heat and plumbing and ...and ...and ...eventually some day alot of paint and then us!!
It will happen! Just keep swimming!!
