Solar Eclipse 2017

Well we saw the historic, monumental solar eclipse of 2017. Maybe it wasn't monumental, but we did have a fun outing for it. Since the school system decided not to have classes on the big day, I took the kiddos out to the farm to watch the big event out in the fields with lots of "big sky".  Ashby and Michaela came along. It was a super hot day, but we packed a picnic and managed to find some shade.

Ricky, Jake, Daniel and Marcus watched the eclipse from a work deck at the plant, wearing their company provided glasses and t-shirts :)
