Co-Co Buffy has certainly caused his fair share of messes this
December. That being said, we believe the girls over at Mattel took
matters into their own hands last night and showed that elf a thing or
two. But before I get ahead of myself, here is the back story.
Last
night I cleaned out the kids playroom, and each of their rooms. With
the addition of new toys and games looming right around the corner, I
figured it would be easier to make room for them now. Once everything
was cleaned out and cleaned up, Laney and I spent some girl time in her
room playing Barbies. Sometimes life gets so crazy-busy that I have to
remind myself to let things go and take time to just play. It was really
relaxing to be piled up on her bed and playing like a kid. She was in charge of dressing the
Barbies and I was in charge of hair-styles.
 |
| Laney's hair is getting so much thicker and growing so fast all of the sudden |
 |
| Please don't judge us, we have somewhere around 25 Barbies, and I know of atleast 3 more arriving this weekend. But she will play for hours with them. |
 |
| We spent the better part of
an hour and a half spiffing up the girls. Occasionally Caleb would fly
in with quick random bursts of chaos. Silly boy, Barbies are for girls. |
 |
| (from left) Laney and Katelin, BFF. She dubbed the brunette as Katelin several years ago when Aunt April gave her to us, and yesterday she informed me that she is the blonde. |

 |
| Look at Snow White, doesn't she look sweet? Do not be fooled by these girls outward appearance, as looks can be deceiving as we were soon to learn! |
After the Barbies left the party at the Magic Diamond Castle, the
plastic ladies went back in their trunk and called it a night...OR DID
THEY?!?
We would like to warn our
readers that the scenes you are about to see may be of a disturbing
nature. Parental supervision is encouraged for small children.
This was how we found our dining room table this morning. We think CoCo caused some problems last night and the Barbies banded together to teach that mischievous elf a lesson once and for all!
 |
| The girls made sure this was one lesson the elf would never forget |
 |
| Caleb was so excited about it! Laney was a little unsure until she realized Coco was fine |
 |
| Barbies giving a High Five on a job well done. Please excuse our Barbie with one hand, she was my Barbie when I was little and didn't survive the 3 brothers without some battle scars, she is one tough gal. |

| Birthday Barbie explains what happened to the debutantes who are unimpressed (as always) |
 |
| This Barbie was hovering over the table, she appeared to be the mastermind behind the attack |
 |
| We think Rapunzel was actually trying to help free him, her hair just wasn't quiet long enough tho. |
 |
| This was definitely a big hit with the kids |
 |
| Told you that Snow White had a mean streak :) |
 |
| Never fear tho, CoCo had an adorable smile on his face, letting us know he was fine and it was all done in fun. He is a good sport! We sure will miss him and his antics in a few days when he is gone for another year. |
