February birthdays

Laney's birthday is the day after Ricky's mom's birthday and the day before his cousin Beth's. Laney was determined to have her own day and was actually born about 30 minutes too late to make it on his Mom's birthday. This Friday, I let the kids pick out their "Nina" a gift from the store. Caleb picked out a little ceramic teddy bear and Laney picked her out a cross. Then we took them and had delivered the gifts and balloon to the courthouse where Nina works.

Since the 3 birthdays are all so close, Saturday night Aunt Lydia hosted a combo party for the birthday kids. We enjoyed a great night of visiting, gifts and fun. Oh and food! Aunt Lydia made a vegetable soup and a potato soup, Roast beef sliders, cornbread, and pimento cheese. It was so good! And of course cake and ice cream...and brownies! I am hungry right now, can you tell? Anyway, here are a few shots from the fun night! Enjoy!
